EA has announced that Skate 4 is in development, but it is very early in development and it is likely a PS5 title coming in a few years.

They took too long though. We have one full release skateboard game coming out(skater xl) and a early build sessions. This HAS to come out way later and have some cool new "features" to be relevent. Hell, we will even have a remaster of Tony hawk this year too. Dragged their feet on this game way to long.
Did they actually ever say Skate4?, if they did I didn’t catch it. I heard dude say “we’re back”. In what capacity though? Direct mainline sequel, MP only spin-off, mobile game? A few minor details would’ve gone a long way since they bothered to announce that out of the blue!? Can’t wait to find out though, obviously!
Thank god it's not a remaster.
