The disc-model looks better/more symmetrical/balanced when horizontal, but the discless model looks better/more symmetrical when standing.

Collectors editions are going to be crazy as hell on PS5. It’s literally housed with a blank white canvas on both sides.

We still have not seen the back of the DualSense guys. I really think that there is a reason Sony hasnt shown the controllers backside.

I like the PS5 standing vertically, horizontal makes the units look out of place. The hood near the top should be smoothed out, adds nothing to the design besides making it look like my router popping it's collar. I will wait for additional color schemes, this might look out of place. I prefer black with blue light accents to go with my setup as my wall is gray, black speakers along with receivers, PC and other consoles.

I really hate the way the ads just pop up on the screen now!

The Blu-ray version looks more symmetrical horizontally and the digital version looks more symmetrical vertically. Very interesting design all around. Personally, I prefer both versions in the vertical position.

Actually warming up to the horizontal disc-version a little bit. god i just wish it didnt have those little "collars" of extra white plastic that extend so far past the black part.

So on stand in horizontal position which allows the bottom of console to breathe. Good idea . When i dj'd parties with a power amp, i always put power amp on milk crate so amp would not over-heat.

Laying horizontal, the disc version looks better. Vertical, digital is the way to go.
I'm getting the disc version. Sony aren't conning me into £60 games.

Looks ok vertical, horizontal it's the worst design I've seen for any piece of hardware. The controller on the other hand looks pretty much perfect, cant wait to hold it.

If it doesn't sell well they gonna remake the design.

Its much higher on the one corner than I expected. Really interested to see someone holding it to get a better idea of just how big it is. Looks nice.

Does any one else think this looks terrible? This is the wackiest console design ever. It won't stop me from getting one but man. It looks like someone spilled water on it and then left it in the sun to warp.

It's genuinely getting uglier and uglier, its not even a full 2 weeks since we first saw it, so much for growing on you.......

Lets be honest, as good as the games look, this console looks ridiculous horizontal. I get the router jokes when its vertical but it still looks good. Horizontal it looks weird. I don't by consoles for how they look so its no biggie to me since my consoles go into a cabinet. However, it almost looks like the horizontal look was completely ignored. Look for a redesign when the slim version is released much later.

The console design is so cool. Really good job from Sony. So many here that wont ever buy the PS5 saying crap. Get over. The design got millions and millions of likes. Gamers like it. Of course there are here many that like boxes that wont even fit inside any furniture shelf. Even so, they waste time to write crap about the design of the PS5. Even if it was a Ferrari they would say crap. It will be funny when they are sold out, but you can see piles of boxes sitting in the shops... Like this gen...

Amazing how this console can look so good vertically, yet so bad horizontally, thus the reason as to why Sony didn't even bother showing it horizontally in their presentation.

I learned from standing my PS2 up and my discs kept getting scratched up, that is not the move...

Monstrosity. And and massive too. Just a massive sore thumb gangly looking thing on my entertainment unit. Urgh. Whatever, it's the games that matter.

The design isn't completely terrible. But I would definitely prefer a black model. And the ability to turn the blue light off. I even turn the Samsung logo on all my TV's.

Gonna stand mine vertically got plenty of room for it.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
