1UP: Lips Review

1UP writes: "For me, karaoke's purely a social event. It's not just about the singing; it's about the performance. After all, what good's singing all the right notes if you can't jump on a table and dance? That's exactly why Lips is so remarkable -- it goes beyond singing by encouraging spirited performances in an beautifully designed and nonthreatening environment."

They gave Wii Music an A-

Socom6442d ago

Didnt you give Singstar a 7 but a Singstar rip off gets an A+?

1UP = untrustworthy = confirmed

Dmitry Orlov6442d ago

But Singstar rip off has custom tracks. Unlimited custom tracks. That's why this 'rip off' rocks.

Elven66442d ago

@ Socom: Rip off? hahah silly fanboys, ever hear of something called Karaoke? It came far before Singstar or Lips, if you disagree? Feel free to ask the nation of Japan.

Jager6442d ago

finally someone review this game for what it is...a social karaoke game, not a game for hardcore gamers, gamers that are looking for challenges or a full online experiences with rank system and stuff. LIPs it's not for you to sit alone in your couch and play all night, it's a game for a party with some beers, girls and just joking around, easy as that.

I never trusted 1up

this just adds up to the weird asss reviews of them

i think the whole music simulation genre is slowing down in popularity

it was an amazing way to experience new&old music but now its not much more than greedy companies competing to get the next sequel out as fast as possible with little innovation

Andrew Lloyd Webber classics coming to Lips
