Give us Red alert 2! OR actually Generals 2 !

anast2182d ago

Can I play this on my cell phone? xD

TheColbertinator2182d ago

Oh really?! I thought it was just the first C&C. Very cool.

Razmiran2182d ago

It's both c&c and red alert, both with it's exapnsion packs

TheColbertinator2182d ago

Thanks for the info. Guess EA really pushed properly this time.

GamingonPC2182d ago

The collection includes Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, plus all the extra content (the PC expansions and console missions)

Razmiran2182d ago

Wait wait wait
This includes retaliation too? That I did not know

GamingonPC2182d ago

Yup! It includes Retaliation as well. It's a really comprehensive package, and if that wasn't enough, there's full mod support and a map editor. I expected a lot less, considering EA's consistent mishandling of the franchise, but I was pleasantly surprised with this.

Love the old school command&conquer, just wish it was available on Consoles. Just prefer to play on my Xbox. Loved playing them back on the old school PlayStation 1 and 2.

GamingonPC2181d ago

Considering it's doing pretty well on PC, I would say EA would be dumb to not port it to consoles. Especially since it has the old console content included as well. The more people who can play this, the better!

Command & Conquer Remastered Collection was a success - so what's next for the RTS franchise?

From Eurogamer: "I think it's fair to say Command & Conquer Remastered Collection was a resounding success. EA's nostalgia-fuelled real-time strategy revival was a hit with fans and critics alike when it launched in June - and it saw big sales on Steam. But as its developers continue to support the game with balance updates, tweaks and mod support, the inevitable question is this: what's next for Command & Conquer?

I've seen plenty of requests for EA to continue to work with the developers at Petroglyph Games and Lemon Sky Studios on more remasters of classic C&C games. It seems natural for EA to tackle Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 next. But I also wonder whether the success of Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, which, let's be honest, is the first good thing to happen to the franchise in a decade (Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, Command & Conquer: Generals 2 and mobile game Command & Conquer Rivals all failed in various ways) means the powers that be at EA may now consider the time right to invest in a new, fully-fledged Command & Conquer game."

I’d love a half remaster/remake for Tiberium Sun with the cut content/ideas that never made it into the game, then a straight remaster for RA2 afterwards.

BillyG0AT2111d ago

I hope it's a fully fleshed out C&C game and not a micro transaction infested mobile game

CorndogBurglar2111d ago (Edited 2111d ago )

How about a proper Command and Conquer 4? Tiberian Twilight was a complete P.O.S. Lets just forget that one and re-do it.

Red Alert 2... the best strategy game of all time.
