Carl Williams writes, "Command & Conquer was a unique release in the mid 1990’s. Real Time Strategy (RTS) games were not new, just this game took off with fans. Was it the locale, military themed, or was it the improved approach to the genre? Command & Conquer touched base with many fans and went onto be a massive success. Now almost three decades later, Electronic Arts (EA) has released a remastered version of the first game, with expansions. They also included Red Alert just because they can."

The May 2022 Humble Choice lineup is here with games like Command & Conquer Remastered Collection and Planet Zoo. All told, players can grab eight games plus the Humble Games Collection for $11.99.

The Humble Store End of Summer Sale just kicked off with deals on games like Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Control Ultimate Edition, and more.

From Eurogamer: "I think it's fair to say Command & Conquer Remastered Collection was a resounding success. EA's nostalgia-fuelled real-time strategy revival was a hit with fans and critics alike when it launched in June - and it saw big sales on Steam. But as its developers continue to support the game with balance updates, tweaks and mod support, the inevitable question is this: what's next for Command & Conquer?
I've seen plenty of requests for EA to continue to work with the developers at Petroglyph Games and Lemon Sky Studios on more remasters of classic C&C games. It seems natural for EA to tackle Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 next. But I also wonder whether the success of Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, which, let's be honest, is the first good thing to happen to the franchise in a decade (Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, Command & Conquer: Generals 2 and mobile game Command & Conquer Rivals all failed in various ways) means the powers that be at EA may now consider the time right to invest in a new, fully-fledged Command & Conquer game."
I’d love a half remaster/remake for Tiberium Sun with the cut content/ideas that never made it into the game, then a straight remaster for RA2 afterwards.
I hope it's a fully fleshed out C&C game and not a micro transaction infested mobile game
How about a proper Command and Conquer 4? Tiberian Twilight was a complete P.O.S. Lets just forget that one and re-do it.
Just bought it on Steam... the first PC game I've played since Diablo III.
I really want to buy this but EA though.. if it wasn't for them, we'd still be getting C&C games.
Love steam for all it's retro options. Will definitely pick it up eventually. Need a RTS game comeback.
Shame this isn't on consoles
