Here are the key issues Microsoft needs to address with the Series X if it wants a shot at victory. The company appears to have plans for some. Others, not so much. All seem necessary for the Xbox Series X to tower over the PlayStation 5 come Holiday 2020 and beyond.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

That’s always unthinkable. Xbox brand doesn’t have the global clout to come out on top in console sales.
Xbox 360 in particular is the only console in history that sold over 45 million in North America yet still failed to cross 100 million worldwide, which speaks volumes of how limited Xbox’s commercial appeal can be.
Make better exclusive games and keep at it the whole generation. Regardless of any features or subscriptions games help sell hardware
Look at Nintendo and Sony even during worst of times they still delivered great must play exclusives
