Warzone Developer Unveils Next Project Swordsman VR

Sinn Studio will be releasing a closed beta next week.

Giraiga132187d ago

On one game, this looks very promising, especially with the feature of bosses. On the other game, the games that the developers worked on were not so good.

Rangerman12082186d ago (Edited 2186d ago )

True. Still, looking at their reddit page, they really seem to put a lot of effort on this one, so let's hope that they deliver.

Also, don't you mean "on one/on the other hand"?

Rangerman12082186d ago (Edited 2186d ago )

How do you know it's excellent if it's not out yet? And have you even played any of Sinn Studios' previous games?

Why do I feel like you don't?

Joshua132186d ago (Edited 2186d ago )

Nice. The PSVR really needs more melee-combat oriented games, especially ones with bosses. There was the one that was essentially a star wars knockoff but it really wasn't very good. So I'm hoping this one does it better.

Also, would be cool if it gets PvP or some other multiplayer component.

ApocalypseShadow2186d ago

It looks good. But I've seen their last works. I'll wait and see.

Rangerman12082185d ago

Agreed. Compared to their previous works though, this one seems to offer more variety and they actually promoted it on VR subreddits (i recall them mentioning a discord or something). Interested on how it will be since this one looks like to be their most ambitious project yet (I guess Warzone was just a way for them to get easy funds?).

Then again, I remember Reborn VR being Geronimo Interactive's most ambitious project, and that game turned out to be...not so good. Still, we have to wait and see.

ApocalypseShadow2185d ago (Edited 2185d ago )

Yeah. I have the discord invite before this story posted. Same with the Sairento developers.

Still debating on joining as I'm unsure what discord is about other than talking. If it allows creative input, then that's cool. But we'll see if I have the time. I guess I kind of do have the time based on when I emailed the Sairento team and surprisingly, they emailed back with information they could actually share that was along the lines of what I wanted to see in their next game since they said they were done adding to their existing game. They also helped with an issue I had. Which was cool.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing2d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster922d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit2d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing2d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster921d 22h ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Tanktopmaster921d 22h ago

Let me be clear. This is sarcasm
