There are still. At the moment.

But I fear for the future. Particularly as I enjoy single player experience over online (generally - not always).
Kinda think that the Warzone model will be adopted, where a minimalist online experience is released, test the water for income and adoption numbers - and then invest accordingly if those numbers are high enough with some MT based updates. And I think it will impact the single player games too - as the upfront investment can be minimal. You don't buy the game; you pay for the experience you want. All well and good, but I think MTs will dictate chaptered releases that I don't necessarily get to finish because I spend so much and then realise I've exceeded what I think the game is worth.
At least now, I buy an entire game for a reasonable cost, finish it and decide whether to pursue more of the series/genre/writer/software house.
Not well put probably (^) - but will miss an end to end story if this happens. Especially if the MTs mean I'm looking at spending more for less (incomplete and fractured games).
