Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the name of the next entry into this historic Assassin’s Creed franchise. Fans were quick to spot hidden runes on the official Ubisoft webpage and it seems a self-acclaimed hardcore Assassin’s Creed fan has solved the mystery.

The lineup of games in Humble Choice Bundle for April, 2026, have been revealed, and one of the featured title is Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed has always been a staple for good cutscenes that engage the audience. However, it's grown lacking of the latter now.
The story was at its most interesting early in the series, but has eventually ended up spinning its wheels going nowhere. The games don't feel linked together anymore. This is to make it easier to constantly churn out endless sequels.
The smaller more intimate maps and historic references are lost. The setting used to be a character in AC. Now it’s just a massive empty shell of its former self.

There's never been a better time to get into Assassin's Creed thanks to these deals.
Waste of money, after the Desmond story arch, but even worse is that its a waste of time. The franchise is just spinning its wheels going nowhere. The further you progress through the series, the more 'corporate' it begins to feel, until its nothing but an empty husk, begging for you to spend money on its micro-trash-action store. There are loading screens in Origins informing you that if you spend money on "fun costumes" you'll feel better! Despicable.
Save your time for something better. Modern day Ubisoft is garbage.
not every AC game is worth playing tho ha.
i feel like it stopped being good after 3. and 3 was even a stretch.
1 and 2 tho? amazing.
This was not code. It's just a message in a different language, written in a different alphabet. If this counts as code, then everyone who writes Sanskrit, or Cyrillic, or Hebrew, writes in code? Just because you can't read it does not mean it's code : P
The text on the website is one of the most famous verses of the Hávamál, so hardly something surprising or secret. The verse speaks of how death must come to us all, but our legacy/reputation lives on. It can have different interpretations seeing as Germanic writings are often written with poetic liberties, but this is the most literal one.
BTW, the guy posts a picture of Odin (as seen on the thumbnail from the trailer) and "Odin?" "Hidden One?" on it. Yes, it's Odin, you see him in the trailer, and the protagonist calls him by name after he sees him vanish behind a tree and a raven flies away from the tree (indicating the old man might have transformed into a different from which Odin was known for doing).
"Hardcore Assassin's Creed fan" = not gainfully employed person
Really cool. Like the message.....deep.
Odyssey took hours of my life, but I enjoyed every moment of combat and gorgeous visuals. Ubi's rendition of the acropolis and temples was so well done, and as historically accurate as possible.
I'm genuinely excited to see more of this game. I love the Viking world. I love Scandinavia and Scandinavian culture, and lately I've been loving Assassin's Creed.
But, I don't want to appear too gleeful and gloss over things that actually suck, like designing a game around microtransactions. Somehow, they've still managed to be good games though.
