XCOM: Chimera Squad plays with some interesting new ideas, but doesn't bring them together into a particularly graceful whole.

BLG writes: "COM games have been around for nearly three decades at this point in some form or another. While XCOM never managed to reach the same heights of success as other long-running franchises, the series definitely has its fair share of fans. With XCOM 3 likely still a couple of years away, we figured we’d reminisce a bit about previous games in the series and try to rank them all from worst to best."
I would have put the original game at number one if it didn't crash all the time.
Have the suspense was know if it was going to load the next round of not.
I know these are ranking the "XCOM" games. However, Phoenix Point, which is made by the same team, is much better than all of the XCOM games. Just my opinion though. lol
Xcom 1&2 above the original o_O ..... hell no
The more recent games were a massive downgrade (1 was an unfinished mess of a game XD)

From Xfire: "PC exclusives might not get as much of the limelight as their console counterparts, but that doesn't mean they're not worthy of your attention. PC exclusive games are often just as good if not better than console exclusives. Some even go on to win multiple gaming awards despite being made by relatively unknown studios."

The chances of XCOM: Chimera Squad making its way to PlayStation 4 in the near future appear to be very high as the PEGI ratings board has just finalised an appropriate age grading for a console port. - PushSquare
Well, I love XCOM and the turn-based genre so scores of 7-8/10 for a game that's currently less than £10 and has 20 hours of campaign seems pretty good to me. If the difficulty setting is finely tuned and works well with the game's equivalent of Ironman mode, the game'll give even more hours to complete and be more tense too:)
I wonder, how many of these mechanics are going to be used in XCOM 3?
