The Wastelanders update changes the experience in meaningful ways, but doesn't fix legacy issues that still bring the game down.

With next-gen just a few days away we not only have some absolute must-play games from current-gen on sale, but also the chance to get next-gen games and pre-orders cheaper too! Check it out inside.

Daily Video Game writes: "The online retailer Amazon is currently running various nice games on sale under $15 and $20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch! If you want to play new games right now, this is your chance to get them without breaking your bank for these gaming platforms!"

Zahi AR. from Link-Cable writes: "Bethesda has had two years to improve these issues with the end result being Fallout 76: Wastelanders, a free update for the core game. Has this improved the game to a playable state? Or is Fallout 76: Wastelanders still the broken and buggy mess we saw on launch?"
It is definitely a lot more interesting to play with human NPCs back. I've been having fun with the game after giving it up for 10 or so months.
It is still a buggy game with horrible pop in and bad animations, but at least it's fun now.
I still can't believe they are using this game engine for the next Elder Scrolls. What a bad idea.
It can't be worse than going terminal to terminal and reading constantly while Bethesda runs off with your cash and leaves the b team to support the game while you continue to stare at vaguely familiar fallout 4 assets with enhanced system crippling god rays.
If you get that far that is.
After over 20 hours, I'm still having fun. I reached level 16, I think. I've always enjoyed the Fallout universe and this game has a nice world. There are several cryptids, if you're into paranormal stuff. The map is nice, with actual colored graphics of landmarks, much better than previous games. There are scores of different mobs, not just the same handful across the entire wasteland. The perk system is different, but I kinda like it. I haven't built a base yet, I'll start when I find a good location. I haven't had any crashes or game breaking bugs. I dunno why so many people hate this game without playing it. They are probably just angry that it's not the game they wanted, but it's a lot of fun.
Yes but that's not very difficult to do considering what an abomination the base game was along with its "content" updates.
