With the successes of both remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, one has to ask, doesn't Resident Evil 4 really need a remake too?
Cut content from the Capom's Resident Evil 4 remake has been uncovered, revealing that it once had a "Chapter 0" featuring Ashley.
You know I would have liked this if it was added on for free. A nice substitute for Assignment Ada.

Even more Switch 1 games have now been fixed on Switch 2 thanks to Nintendo - get the full list right here.

Capcom reports that all modern Resident Evil remakes and new titles have each sold over 10 million copies, marking a major success for the franchise.
good for them, I actually enjoyed all the RE games, even the lower scoring ones
the remakes of 2,3,4 are amazing
Resident evil 4 doesn't need a remake it needs a graphical overhaul. Give it a Halo anniversary treatment, keep the gameplay but overhaul the graphics.
Capcom already did, it's called Resident Evil 5. Oh wait, you mean from the ground up, dontcha? Right. Um, no. I'm sure Capcom would love to rewhore this game to every one thing that's capable of running it, but just because you can doesn't mean you should. This game is considered one of the most influential games of the 2000s, and because of that very fact, and given its age, I personally think this title wouldn't be nearly as impressive as one would think, considering most every game since has been touched by it in some fashion. Admittedly, though, it would be cool to see in curiosity, but to go through with it feels like not being able to see the (Arklay) forest for the trees.
Why? What's the rush?
RE4 is even available for PS4 and still holds up ... let it age properly dammit.
Go Remake Onimusha or something ...
If they wanted to remake this game they should have considered that before porting it to every console, each generation since it's original release.
No it doesnt, Code Veronica on the other hand does
