Quakecon Cancelled

While there was hope for a delay it has now been cancelled according to a new post from Bethesda.

At this point we can just recap it as "2020 cancelled"

Sadly. SDCC is still taking a wait and see and planning but if Quakecon bails and they have significantly less in terms of moving parts and guests it does make you wonder. Many things are delayed as you know. WonderCon says it will move and we had May events like Fan Fusion move to September.

Suprised they did not wait and see or postpone it.

Most Summer cons are planning to wait until June or do to decide or are pushing back to Fall. The fact they just cancelled it was a suprise. That being said; with developers not able to work as normal, they may not have much to show as their other games are still reportedly a way off. No point if its just a Lan tourny as in recent years it has become a chance for Bethesda to show off pending titles.
