Capcom recently released Resident Evil Requiem, and it's been so successful that it's seemingly dragging along every other Resi game with it.
That's certainly true in the UK; the latest physical retail charts have come in, and the top 10 includes five Resident Evil games across all platforms.

I would wager there's a cloud version down the line or
it's simply a default option of their engine and tools.
Probably be stream only like Resident Evil VII on the Switch
I'm not confident that the switch could run this.
Would be tempting to grab RE3 on Switch but I doubt they would do that if they were going to make a Switch port they would have ported RE2 remake and made an actual copy of RE7 instead of streaming. I am surprised the way Capcom likes to milk the RE franchise the original RE2 and RE3 have not been cleaned up and beautified and ported to consoles all ready. I mean I would love to buy those two games cleaned up and looking great all they do is just keep porting RE4, 5, 6 and Origins.
