Awesome I absolutely love Alan Wake.

1Victor2234d ago

Wait Alan wake coming to ps4 ? Nice 👍 I wish them the best and hope they get the sales they deserve and release the sequels as well as make a new game

SyntheticForm2234d ago

I'm still impressed by the gusts blowing the trees and the darkness creeping around. That was hot stuff back then. Oh, and I loved the game too.

neutralgamer19922234d ago

This is their last game for other platforms before going exclusive

neutralgamer19922234d ago

Sony along with bluepoint will be revealed when they reveal the actual console with games

Sony behind the scenes are working on mind blowing stuff. Kojima could be next under world wide studios and Sony may(most likely) outright buy Konami

Sony wants silent hills(kojima) and they want bluepoint to remake MGS with kojima's collaboration

Launch of ps5 could be something simply astonishing

1Victor2234d ago

@ neutral I want some of that you’re smoking I’m a Kojima San fan and like Sony but never thought a scenario like that may be in another 10-20 years if konami goes down but they got the pachinko machine business in Japan so it’s highly unlikely

darthv722234d ago

Im not buying it neutral. They still have good relations with MS. And konami... now you're reaching.

RosweeSon2234d ago

There’s rumours of the IP’s outright buy not sure but to think those would be the launch games now your having a laugh. Ridge racer TEKKEN wipeout all the usual suspects. Cod Fifa etc will be there anything Ubisoft is churning at the time. I’ll wait to see the launch games before I’m overly excited rumours and tech breakdowns don’t do it for me. Don’t understand most of the techy stuff CPU’s GPU’s 🤷🏻‍♂️... where the games at ;)

neutralgamer19922234d ago

Darth

No doubt but what does a relationship have to do with business ? Sony help/funded double fine so much yet Ms bought them Tim has great relationship with sony. I don't understand your comment

Sony wants to buy IP's if Konami refuses Sony will outright buy them their market cap is under 4 billion you are making it sound like I said Sony will buy EA

BTW Ms have bought another decent size studio they will reveal during E3

Roswee

I never said any of those games I would be available at lunch all I said is the launch of the PlayStation 5 could be astonishing. What I mean by that is Sony wants to show some must have exclusives whether that's first party second party or third party. They know how much of an impact they made when they showed news for FF7, shenmue 3 and TLG. They want similar impact, news coverage and momentum

Let me also clear up something silent Hill has been in active development for over 1.5 years and the one being made by kojima is in pre production (both will be revealed this year before launch of ps5). Bluepoint have two games in development one is a complete remake of demon souls(almost gold will launch day one with ps5) and the other is a complete remake of metal gear solid 1(pre production) after that they will do metal gear solid 2 then 3. Sony will reveal that metal gear solid 1 is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 at the reveal event for ps5. Sony wants David jaffe to reboot Castlevania

I reported Sony buying insomniac months before it was actually revealed and now I can tell you ps5 will be $399

Konami wouldn't even let Kojima accept his award, let alone give a damn about producing any new games. And now they're going to outright sell the studio to PlayStation? soon link plz thx

refocusedman2234d ago

Konami might as well sell their IPs. They're not doing anything with them. (Have you seen contra rogue ops)

neutralgamer19922234d ago (Edited 2234d ago )

Konami has changed a lot since than at that time both Konami and kojima needed a break from each other. Kojima had been with Konami for over 2 decades

A lot within Konami is set to change

stiggs2234d ago

Do you spend a lot of time making this stuff up or does it just spill it out in a stream of consciousness?

thatguyhayat2234d ago

Neutralgamer1992

Thats only rumours though. However the Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania is from a reliable source

x_xavier_x2234d ago (Edited 2234d ago )

@neutralgamer1992

A few months ago you said "Don't believe the rumors. It (PS5) has better specs than any other console that will Launch in 2020".

That claim turned out to be erroneous so why would anyone believe you now? You post information as fact but it's obviously just wishful thinking. You have no solid evidence to back up your assertions, especially in regard to the next gen price points ($399.99 for PS5 is a guess), so perhaps you should refrain from acting like some kind of insider who's privy to exclusive information. If you're submitting these speculations to appear as if you have exclusive insight on the matter then it's not working. It's just the opposite, because most of us know that your just spreading rumors.

KwietStorm_BLM2233d ago

"Konami has changed a lot since than at that time"

LOL when? How? How did they change and when did this all happen? They haven't even done anything but release Metal Gear Survive... So again, post your sources, not from 4chan, or else you're just spreading rumors for no reason.

I'm still really curious how much Sony threw down for timed exclusivity on 1 of 2 expansions. Absolutely mind-boggling.

Report: New Trademark for "Control: Resonant" Unearthed, Ahead of TGA

New evidence suggests a Control reveal is imminent. A trademark discovery ahead of The Game Awards hints at big news for Remedy's franchise.

Storm23153d ago

Control was really good. There was a ton of backtracking and running through the building from one end to the other a ton of times, but otherwise I loved it. Can't wait to see the sequel.

medman152d ago

Yeah it was awesome....looking forward to this reveal

REDGUM153d ago

I really enjoyed Control though without the mini map i found myself lost and or unsure of what to do too often and gave in on the game about 30% in.
Ive just re-downloaded it with the latest update with the enhanced graphics but unaure I'll dig back into it agaith with my current backlog.
Looking forward to seeing whats next from Remedy though.

toxic-inferno152d ago

I know exactly what you mean. I've played the game through twice and have had the same issue both times.

What I found on my latest playthrough was that the best way to navigate is to use the physical signs in-game as well as the map.

How the Remedy Connected Universe does the multiverse right

ScribbleCat said: Media is certainly no stranger to connecting all their properties together. Comic books have been doing this for generations, and TV is also known for special crossover episodes, which confirm the notion that they take place in the same fictional world. Video games, which can be barely called a new medium at this point, also have some interesting overlaps with connecting different games. For example, Valve’s Portal and Half-Life show how subtle hints can give players more theories to chew on. Old classics like DOOM and Wolfenstein also share similarities. But my favorite connection between games is the Remedy Connected Universe. While only a connection between Alan Wake and Control have been confirmed, there is SO much more to explore with Remedy’s crazy take on this old formula. And, according to Sam Lake, this is only the beginning.

SimpleSlave312d ago

They really should release the full Quantum Break experience on the PS5. Sure, it's a middle-of-the-road third-person shooter and a perfect example of self-indulgence, but why not? It was fun in short burst and it completes the Remedy set until Max Payne 1+2 Remakes get released later on.

Do it, Microsawft. Don't be cowards.

eh?
They better not mess much with the Max Payne Remake(s)

Yui_Suzumiya527d ago

Yeah but this was announced before the Max Payne Remake after all

LucasRuinedChildhood526d ago (Edited 526d ago )

What does "unlocking some previously released content" actually mean though? I would imagine it should be "previously unreleased content". Bit odd.

DaReapa526d ago

Right. Especially since the Ultimate Edition supposedly contained everything.

raWfodog527d ago

I only played about an hour of Control when I added it to my library back when it was one of the PS+ ‘free’ games. I’ll start it over again after the early 2025 update is dropped. I keep hearing that it’s a good game.

jznrpg526d ago

You can make that statement for any game. It’s called gameplay loop. Not everyone is going to enjoy the same loops but all games are repetitive by nature

RedDevils526d ago

Agree it was very boring game. Could not get into it. Remember me the game I played on PS3 is still better than this.

Chocoburger527d ago

These days "RPG" translates to constantly grinding for experience points, wasting time upgrading gear, and repeatedly collecting resources off the ground.

Please don't be an Ubishit style filler game.

Yui_Suzumiya527d ago

Hopefully it'll be more like Mass Effect

Amplitude526d ago (Edited 526d ago )

Remedy doesn't really make mistakes. It'll be good, I'm sure.

Inverno527d ago

So in other words it's an action game needlessly fluffed out with RPG mechanics and a pointless leveling system. I really enjoy RPGs when they're actually RPGs but modern action games really tire me out when they shoehorn in mechanics they don't need. All this does is make a 20 hour game into a 40 hour game because missions become locked behind level requirements, and enemies become damage sponges. It's not fun, it's tedious.
