Despite gaining a lot of traction lately, VR still isn't commonplace: here are three reasons why and what it will take to be the next big thing.

Alien Isolation Grand Mother VR is an all new virtual reality experience for Creative Assembly’s best ever horror game.
I played through most of the PS4 version of the game but stopped because another game came out. I bought it last year for PC with the intention of using the VR mod but haven't gotten around to setting it up. I am glad I waited.
Great game, even better in VR. A little drawn out by the end, but I hope we see CA do something a little different with the sequel.
Sweet. I also rebought this game on Steam for the purpose of VR. I'll have to give it another shot w full immersive controls. I had only tried it out briefly before.
It's funny this was never officially released at retail as a VR game, bc it feels so perfect for it!

The Polish studio behind Bulletstorm and Outriders confirms plans to phase out its VR publishing activities.
Holger Frydrych has just released a cool VR Mod for the 2007 version of Crytek's first-person shooter, Crysis.
Playing it right now looks amazing! :D
so much fun, i hope they make a vr mod for crysis 2 / 3 too!
This is amazing. This is the direction VR should go in to boost adoption. Since I have beaten every Crysis except 1, this is now a good excuse to correct that problem.
According to some, VR will never catch on. Something tells me those people will change their tone when MS gets their own headset. Then, it will be the best thing ever, kind of like with streaming games, cross-buy, cross-play and whatever else that has been out that MS decided was important.

When something like the oculus quest can play something like Half Life Alyx at at least high settings with no PC/Console required and cost $200-$300
When there's a number of must have games and the headset is light, comfortable and wireless it'll be mainstream.
