Developer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone has announced the Stardew Valley 1.5 Content Update just a couple of days after 1.4 has been launched on iOS.

"Today we are happy to announce that ConcernedApe has made a very generous initial donation of $125,000 and an ongoing monthly commitment to the project," MonoGame says in a statement on Twitter. "This extraordinary show of support, alongside ongoing contributions from other studios and individuals, helps ensure MonoGame continues to be the open-source C# framework that game developers of all sizes can rely on."

Stardew Valley is now available on Switch 2 as a free upgrade for existing Switch owners, with a standalone price of 14.99 dollars at launch.
Still doesn’t appear to exist at all on the UK store even when accessing directly from Switch 2.
Just bought it, in order to see whether you can upgrade in-game but nothing at all.

PlayStation Store has removed cross-buy ownership for the PS Plus Essential version of farm life sim Stardew Valley.
"However, Sony now seems to be revoking that digital ownership and reclassifying the game as subscription-only access. In other words, the license is now tied strictly to an active PS Plus membership rather than being treated as a permanent digital purchase."
So it now works exactly as it is supposed to work. All monthly games redeemed from PS Plus Essential are subscription-only access.
I've not been able to download it on my vita for over a year now, perfectly fine on my PS4 and PS5
looks like its time for a new farm
I really don't understand why small devs focus on a single title for so long. Concerned Ape said he has two games in development and he keeps going back to Stardew. He can do whatever he wants, but it seems like he's spreading himself too thin working on several things at once.
Then there's DJArcas with Fortresscraft Evolved. He plans on releasing about 7 more small games to make some money before he works on Fortresscraft Phoenix full time. Problem is, his small games don't sell well and he's begging people on Discord for reviews to get him in the Steam charts. I understand you need money, but your fans and people on Patreon want Fortresscraft, the original brought in over $1M in sales on 360. It's obvious fans want more of it, not some other lame games. He spends two months on a game that doesn't sell, those are two wasted months that could've brought you that much closer to what your fans actually want.
Then you have Re-Logic and Terraria. Yes I understand it has sold a ton of copies, but they've been riding that train for 9 years now. They canceled their other project saying it wasn't living up to their expectations, but instead of working on something new, they keep releasing stuff for Terraria.
Mojang and Minecraft is another. At least they are working on other projects like Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons.
