Im glad they are re-releasing. The games on the cube were really good, but obviously ppl were too interested in the ps2 to realize.

Star wars Rogue squadron 2 was awesome!

Yeah I know Wifi is so last gen, Blue tooth is also.. Guess you kids are paying 400-600.00 for a PS3 for last gen features also.. Oh but whats that? It doesnt bother you to pay for last gen if it carries the Sony name? Only reason you could be crying now. More powerful than any last gen consoles, offers half the features that you think make a console worth 600.00 but it isnt next gen? Spoken out of ignorance of the console, or jsut a blind fanboy? It has to be one or the other. Either you dont understand what you're talking about or you do understand and just want to be a fanboy

So when the ps2 brought out games like battlefield and Star wars Battlefront on the ps2 did u call them "last gen" crap because the pc had those games looking WAY better than the ps2 ports. Actually they looked like crap in comparason. But i bet ppl still bought em and didnt care how crapped they looked.

The multplayer (on the net) was a joke compared to the pc as well. I call it Selective memory because ppl never seem to remember those kinda things. (they never remember the casual crap on the machine either...two words......................... .DOA VOLLEYBALL !!)

Kinda like the crappy ports of FPS from pc to ps2 ey. I mean they were already out for years on the PC (looked ten times better) but ported em anyway. It may not have been the same system, but alot of those games were old.

That is disgusting. I can't believe that they're willing to charge GC game that highly. I wouldn't mind so much if it were around £10 or even £15, but over £20 is almost as ludicrous as Crunchy Nut Cornflakes traffic lanes.

They need to re-release the classic cube games like Metroid and Viewtiful Joe and whatever, for 10-15 bucks orso, cause the Wii itself has a poor line-up for the coming period.

Depending on the games they remake I may just use the money for gas and what not instead.

You know what, that's really not a bad idea. We have something in the UK called "Eat or Heat". It's because teh elderly can't even pay their energy bills and have to choose between food and energy. Yet the rest of the country is wondering if they should splash out on virtual games for old platforms. With the way the economy is, as well as actual console titles, this is so stupid. I know it's a novelty thing, but if you're that interested in playing old skool titles, why don't you just take out your old GC console (or even buy one, it'd be cheaper) with a shedload of games bundled.

I loved them on the CUbe and will love them more with IR suppor.

Yep, its already been confirmed that both games will be coming.
They better add online play to Metroid 2 though.
I highly doubt it.

Not hating on them but all those games are $5 and $10 (Gamecube)at Lamestop. Nintendo may shoot themselves in the foot as Lamestoppers will sell the old used copies since the have the same name and people won't know any better.

You do know that they are not straight ports right? New levels added and such? No probably not just another troll speaking without knowing to trash a company they will never back. Whats wrong with paying 20.00 for a game that you didnt play last gen with added content? I am certain that if PS3 were offering PS2 games for 20.00 and they had been updated many of you crying now would completely change your mind. Hell you pay 40.00 for only half a game like GT:P but Nitnendo owners shouldnt pay 20.00 for a full game? How the hell does that ven make sense to anyone but a fanboy?

And I won't buy any of these games unless they CHANGE the game.
And no, that doesnt mean adding controls only. I mean enhancing the graphics, maybe add a couple modes, etc.

This "play it on Wii" BS has shown itself for the money whoring tactic I'd always worried it would be. For tacked on controls we're expected to pay two thirds the price of a fully developed new game?

We already know the propensity for shafting Wii owners with shoddy ports(yes I mean you ,Ubisoft, inparticular after the BIA disgrace)but should we have to pay this much for a bunch of (even if Pikmin was good first time round etc, etc...)OLD games that if we were interested we'd have already played for less? Maybe if they asked a tenner, or fifteen quid tops, it could be justified but this just smacks of trying to get current gen Wii owners to pay for the development costs that were lost in the GC era. I honestly can't believe they want more than £20 for these titles-imo it's tantamount to daylight robbery. And with Ninty licensing all this right now what message does it give out to prospective and current developers? Christ, or publishers! They could all be at it and we'll never see a new game again!

I joke, but is this acceptable from Nintendo?

these definitely should not be priced so high with a rehash of an old game. I know they have new controls, but is this really innovation? I'd rather just buy the regular gamecube games
