System Shock Remastered Making "great progress", Kickstarter Update Due Soon

From GameWatcher: "Publisher and developer Nightdive Studios has spent the last four years working on the System Shock remaster, aiming to offer fans a reimagining of the classic immersive sim for modern audiences.

The most recent monthly Kickstarter updates focused on releasing a backer demo alongside a look at some new concept art. While some backers are showing signs of weariness, the developer told us that work on the game is coming along nicely."

Phew I thought that meant they were going to add another Kickstarter to the game which would be a horrible decision considering everything that happened.

A good start would be to release games to go with the console. My Xbox Series X has gathered dust virtually from launch. My advice would be to ditch a next console and release games on PC, PlayStation and Switch. Another idea would be a hybrid console based on Xbox Series X tech and go the same route as Nintendo. Another idea would be to pull out of gaming altogether. Plenty of options there.

Why would they pull out? They have the momentum. Sony has been getting nothing but bad news lately.
