Temtem comes close to infringing on Pokémon's intellectual property, but does it come close enough for legal consequences?

Additional activities this December to celebrate PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
Nice, looking forward to try out the Aliens game..had a lot of fun with Fireteam Elite
Wow! I was just contemplating getting It takes Two just a few hours ago… and then this. Nice!
It's a decent month you don't already own those games. Not sure if I will renew my membership though

Ali writes: "Temtem is not perfect, but it is as close to Pokemon as you'll get on the Xbox; a fun time and a good challenge all in."

Temtem offers a refreshing take on the monster-collection genre, but is it enough to stand on its own against similar titles?
Lol as if nintendo could.
Why? For showing people how much content and features you can give people if you actually try...it's only a small team aswell. Imagine what they could achieve with a budget like Pokemon gets.
As if a lot of Nintendo’s own systems don’t take heavy cues from other franchises
This is a nothing story. It's already been dealt with and Nintendo is not suing:
"Are you going to get sued?
We're not using any patent or copyright from Nintendo. Switch already has several games very inspired from other Nintendo games (Brawlout, Wargroove, Oceanhorn...)."
It's being ported to the Switch. Why would Nintendo turn around and sue them? Lol
