MS is so busy teasing next gen games. While sony is so busy marketing the ps4 and the games that will come out this year.

Nothing changed this also happened during the last year of ps3 and xbox 360.

It's pretty funny with articles like this, but the Xbox team spent this whole gen hyping stuff up and delivered nothing of note, where Playstation has been delivering amazing games since the PS3, and that's the difference, going into the Xbox One and PS4 Playstation had already had some amazing titles like Last of us, games people might not have played but heard were amazing, and they be doing it again this gen. Why should I believe this? MS didn’t even have a quality E3 last year because of the PR nonsense and lack of gameplay. When these two things start to change, then I might listen.

I have a serious question when it comes to anything to do with the "console war". How come it seems anything on this site for the most part is anti-xbox or very harsh with anything posted and anything sony for the the most part seems to be praised.

This is just saying xbox is looking good moving forward which im not sure how you'd argue against that considering how this generation started for them. Sony will be fine with the momentum they built no matter what they do to be honest. Can't we all just admit for some reason or another the majority of us on here prefer one console for some reason or another. Mine may be stupid but I prefer the xbox controller way more than PlayStation and I also like Halo.

I'm all good on gaming on any console but xbox was a big disappointment this gen and if they dont get their sht together I won't even consider picking up a series X next gen, now playstation was-is amazing throughout the whole gen, through the end so they will have my money day one without even taking power-teraflop into consideration.

Power has never equalled success, you don't just play the hardware, xb have no killer franchise or exclusive that would bring me back now.

Power didnt do anything for ms when the X came out. As a matter of fact the PS4 sold even more from that point on so the gap widened. Having great games is what matters. The new systems will both have plenty of power but it is what the respective devs will be able to create that will determine which is superior. Sonys 1st party are unreal and adding Insomniac was huge as they are a legit AAA studio. MS will do better next gen im sure but they need to create new AAA games and ips not just gp filler or smaller games with online only like Everwild looks to be. Another Sea of thieves with coop likely. Sony will continue to create AAA single player experiences that sell and win industry awards for the quality they have.

I buy the consoles now for the exclusives only as pc gaming is better but its funny how anything said about xbox here and the salty sony owners lose it. You don't even have to say it will be better than PS but just saying they are looking good and sony fanboys get so upset. Settle down boys and remember strong competition is good for everyone!

MS games for series X is not looking strong in my book. A bunch of stuff stated in this video I disagree with and find very inaccurate. Such as reasons why MS got crushed by the PS4 this generation. I'm not going to get into that now.

The truth of the matter is that the XBOX gaming platform is not for every type of console gamer. It appeals to a certain type of gamer and that is the decision Spencer and the MS team has consistently made known if gamers really listen. I was not listening carefully so I bought all of the XBOX consoles from the beginning up to the XBOX1X.

MS number one goal is connected gamers playing with one another as was correctly stated in this video. If games do not meet that standard like Scalebound shown in this video, it will get cancelled. XBOX Live is a bread winner so single player AAA episodic games are NOT their focus. Online gaming is where they want to excel and if they can get other 3rd party studios to focus on those games they are fine.

Don't be fooled by the added studios. If you like playing games with your friends online and being connected then MS and series X will be right up your alley. If you are more interested in single player AAA games, don't waste your time. MS is not for you. Its just that simple folks....despite all the raw power of the console.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
