Sony just needs to up its resolution and framerate and it'll be quite the service, still don't like streaming though so doesn't really matter to me.
The only game streaming services are PS Now, Stadia and GeForce Now.

That is one of the advantages of the PC as a gaming platform. As there are no third party dealing with the distribution of the software like on a console. The lifespan of a game is only dictated by the interest of the creator or studio in keeping it running.
And even if those finally move on to other projects. Is not rare to see fans teaming up to develop new unofficial updates or even a complete revival of a once loved game.
It's stuff like modding that we'll always keep PC as my main platform.

When he said old in the title I didn’t think he meant ancient. I don’t think I actually was doing much on the pc when these were released.
I think the limit of my old games time period started with Kings Quest, Doom, Tie Fighter, and then Jagged Alliance.
I recently got into PC gaming from console and it was the best decision in gaming I ever made. I love the openness and flexibility of PC as a platform and the modding community.
I can go to GOG and buy old games that people still play and modify to this day, I can play Phantasy Star Online even though it's a japanese only game (yes I know it's coming to states FINALLY!).
I also love the fact that people rebuild and revive long lost games that have been officially shut down by the main developer like NFS World for example. I just absolutely love PC.
