I’m shocked to not see RE7 in here which is scarier than RE2 Remake in my opinion.

A lot of very harsh reviews for the game recently. I’ve not had time to play it all the way through yet but I thought it was okay. Also, the description above, saying the game shouldn’t be made because of the IP and how old it is - what about Friday 13th? Star Wars? Shenmue (although thats a sequel rather than based off an IP as such)?

There was a remake fairly recently wasn't there? I think I watched it although I couldn't swear to it. If there was and it did well then I guess the franchise is still relevant enough for a new game.
