I play too many different kinds of games. Why even try though? What’s with this generation and trying to break everything into groups? Find your tribe based on superficial nonsense! Can’t even get away from segregation in the types of games you play lmao.

From an individual standpoint, there's the OCD tendency to want to label and categorize everything, and the instant gratification granted by things like the internet only make that tendency worse.

From a corporate standpoint...companies just want us to buy whatever products they produce, and they will research into things like different categories of people (real or imagined) to gauge viability for a particular type of product.

From a service or storefront standpoint, the companies behind those want to get into your head so they can try and get to know you and recommend stuff based on the data they collect, which can be quite extensive. The correct term is creepy.
