Now that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is here, it will be up to gamers to decide to back the title or prove EA is the wrong publisher for the brand.

EA has build between gamers and them a fortified concrete wall of greed and shame over the past several years and this wall can be seen from miles ahead, one game or two doing the right thing won't crumble that wall maybe just a few scratches only, they need to do a lot and I mean A LOT! to earn gamers respect back again.

‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Will Either Make Or Break EA's Future’.

Incorrect. FIFA Football is EA’s most important and profitable game.

Irony is this is Respawn's game, they likely started development before EA bought them out.

EA will be fine. If this fails (which I dont think it will) EA would just crush and kill Respawn. I really hope Disney pulls SW from EA and gives them to studios to do individually. Spider-Man is a great example of allowing a developer take time and create their own unbothered vision of an IP.

they wont crush respawn, becasue of Apex.

Just wish Disney would open up the license to other devs and publishers. Maybe they're trying to protect their property, but lets face it, EA has not done anything useful with it after all these years. 2 MP games, and now finally a story based game in the franchise. That's hardly what I call utilizing the franchise to it's full potential. So much about Star Wars just screams, "Make me into a game", yet some generic FPS games, and now finally, maybe a good SW games.

EA will be fine, they seem to be immune to criticism. Even if this game is good though, and it does look good from the gameplay videos I have seen, I still don't want them to have the license to make Star Wars games. It shouldn't belong to one company.

Nope not as long as millions take it up the backside from EA with their yearly rehashed sport titles

Duke192382d ago (Edited 2382d ago )

Lol please. People are going to eat this game up regardless of EA involvement. I love how people think the vast majority of gamers give 2 shits about what EA has done in the past, they are still going to buy their games.

He would kill it with a show or trilogy based around the character or some other story that involves Cal Kestis. Currently the best thing about Star Wars.
