So like they’ve already said previously nothing new here.

I wish Nintendo would take matters into their own hands and give Pokemon to a better studio while giving them a higher budget. Imagine if Pokemon was made with the same attention as Breath of the Wild. There is so much potential, but that won't happen.

Pokemon is a business's wet dream: low budget product that makes it rain money.

If they added every Pokemon (models, animations, moves, etc) they'd have less time to work on other content for the game. Then everyone would bitch that it's another cookie-cutter shallow Pokemon experience.

Just a reminder that they took away from this game to put more effort into Little Town Hero. The game that was hyped up and said to be Game Freak's #1 priority yet ended up being a sub-$30 digital-only bland RPG with generic elements and art design that might last 10-15 hours.

If you really want to voice your displeasure, don't buy the game OR buy it used if you seriously can't go without Pokemon for five seconds.

It's okay, they're just being lazy and greedy about all this. I guarantee they will be releasing another Pokemon title next year in November.

I think the main thing people need to do is...grow up and get over it. Jesus Christ...
It’s not easy to just add them and it is a lot of work. This isn’t a crappy 2d ds game anymore. This is a high detail high resolution model. You’re talking double the work and I for one am glad I don’t have to wait another year.

Why would things change every new version that come out do not have all the Pokémon

Last time a game had all of them was Pokémon gold and silver Or diamond and pearl

Every version after one of those never had all the Pokémon

Difference with back then and now people just want something to argue about and the crazy part the people who complaining was not getting the game anyway they just want it to sell bad because it sold good for so long

They dont care because the games will still sell a crap ton. What really annoys me the most is that they probably know about the whole outcry. And it all being from their biggest and core fans, they will choose to ignore them and prioritize the larger casual crowds.

Annnd I couldn't care less. The reality is that only the super hardcore crowd cares about this, and most players buy a new Pokemon game to actually play with new Pokemon. Why waste time and effort pulling forward hundreds of models 90% of players aren't even going to use?

FFS Game freak. I’m sick of this company. Better wait 3 months for a full priced Ultra Sword & Shield with added pokemon and new clothes.

It is almost like they hate the success. They seem to have animosity towards the fans.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
