The only thing I can imagine, that could even come close to the public reaction of the FFVII remake is a Half-Life 3 announcement. If it ever happens, chances are it won't happen at a Sony conference. So yeah 2015 is probably not gonna get beaten in the perception of the general public for a long time.

The amazing thing is that Sony also followed it up with the 2016 conference, which was incredibly packed as well: God of War, Days Gone, Resident Evil VII, Death Stranding and Spider-Man got announced in that conference.

Do you honestly think that they can't top themselves by showing the system, then showing the games they have planned for that system?

Would think a Resistance, Gravity Rush or Infamous squeal/reboot announcement would be mike drop moments.

Personally, would love to see a space or flight sim along the lines of that Warhawk first promised to be.

You use punctuation and capitalization in a ridiculous manner. To move beyond that, it is a pretty safe bet to say that the PS5 reveal is going be a very exciting event.

We know the quality of the PlayStation exclusives, and that there will be plenty more to come from the studios that have produced them. Add to that the fact that PlayStation has the largest user base by far, and that those people can't wait to see what's next and you can pretty much guarantee that the event will be filled with energy. Electric even. Some may even say, "insane".

I don't think theres anything wrong with being excited for the reveal of new hardware. Im pretty sure Sony will have a big reveal for it since they had big reveals for pretty much any PlayStation that came before it. Whether or not the content of the event will suit your tastes is another question.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
