The Joy Cons have have haptic feedback as well and largely it isn’t used. I wonder how much this would make the PS5 controller cost? Controllers are already too damn expensive, should never cost more than a new game.

Agree. I'll take cheaper controllers and improved battery life and you can keep all your gimmicks.

Joy cons are overpriced and low quality controllers imo.
I have bought a hori grip controller for my switch and it's 100% more confortable and reliable.

It's a neat gimmick, like the speaker and touch pad on the DS4, the new haptic rumble will be used a few times then be forgotten about.
