Destructoid's Chris Carter writes: "Apple Arcade made a big splash day one, and I couldn't be happier. Tasked with killing a microtransaction/gacha-hungry monster it helped create, Apple is trying out the subscription model, and the best part is that every game is a premium release.
And if Apple can keep wooing developers like Hidden Layer Games to continue releasing projects like Inmost on it, it'll be in good shape."

Inmost is an atmospheric adventure that follows three protagonists through a gloomy world shrouded in mystery. This is an excellent adventure absolutely worthy of your time. Check out The Never Yak's review for more.
This looks so great. Hoping to see this make its way to other consoles at some point.

From Xfire: "The rise of vintage pixel graphics in modern games has brought a huge range of amazing, beautiful titles to us - and these games will let your poor, overworked PC take a breath. Here are the top 10 pixel art games for low-power PCs."
You can also add old school RPGs to the mix if you’re into them. Their slow pace work great with my old laptop. Currently playing Trails in the sky.

One-of-a-kind pixelated horror game with cinematic sound design.
It'll be in good shape, bar the fact that even though they want to sell subscriptions, they lock off the millions of users they could be courting by leaving Arcade only open to iOS 13 users. Seems mind boggling stupid. Hopefully they decide to offer this to iOS 12 users as well, because those who don't already have new devices sure aren't going to be swayed by a subscription to do so.
iOS 12 users are annoyed, Apple loses out on potential subscriptions - where their focus is truly turning...lose-lose.
