This is a bug fix patch on PS4 and Xbox One to address some critical issues which includes the following:
Fixed multiplayer immediately after defeating the last boss in Cathedral of the Sacred Blood causing player character unable to re-enter the boss area to progress the story."

All the journos claiming things are "Soulslike" simply don't know what that word means.
Nioh 1+2 imo are the best souls clone. Love the melee combat and ki system, really hoping team ninja doesn't abandon the IP and continue with a new title, hell just give us your take on the western fantasy setting for a new nioh game.
This happened only once to me but I was able to enter again before the patch dropped. Thought it was already patched. Glad its taken care of completely though.
