How can a product be worse than its previous iteration? This is criminal and they need to start getting sued by the public.

Here's hoping that eventually FIFA will be so bad that it'll fail commercially and PES will be free to mop up the licences and produce the best football game ever made. I know it's not going to happen because of how ravenous people are for FIFA's micro transactions but it's nice to pretend.

It's getting embarrassing at this point with FIFA. FIFA had a legit product about 10 years ago when PES went down the toilet and they've gotten worse & worse because of their greed. Meanwhile, Konami has been bringing PES back to its roots and creating an actual soccer game true to the sport. EA is terrible. If you're a fan of the sport, do yourself a favor and go PES. You'll never go back.

Why do you guys have to buy it new? You know you can get this game used and buy keys from 3rd party site and not support these guys

I think Fifa 20 is great. Tried 18 and 19 and didn't like them. This year everything is much more balanced and realistic. Not stupidly easy to score from outside the box like before. Been on PES the last two years and as much as I love the gameplay I was getting bored as they haven't made any proper changes to myclub mode. Love FUT and don't spend a penny on packs as there's so many ways to earn them.
I don't play Career mode though so can't comment on how poor that may be.

Fifa 20 is ace, if you can't see the difference in gameplay and how it's evolved then either you are blind or have not played enough.

Fifa 19 was all about bombing the wings, if you had the fastest pace cards you could usually win. Fifa 20 isn't like that, fifa 20 has now evolved into what football is real life, sure abit of speed helps in certain situations but it can really ruin your day. Fifa 20 is now a possession based game, you move it around tactically trying to find that all important space to move into for your strike. Sometimes I find I have to move it back into midfield or defence rather than always trying to move it forward. Free kicks have been changed along with penaltys, for the better as well.

I've been playing ultimate team since release, well before and I must say although it's tougher v real opponents I also see how far one version has come in terms of gameplay. I see the difference with player positioning, see the difference with finding that perfect tactic now, switching from defensive to attacking more often and so on. I also notice how different defending is, fifa 19 I could defend instantly without the need to drop back, fifa 20 has me dropping back near enough all the time in order for me to wait foe the opposition to make there mistake or they get close enough to make that tackle. One mistake on tackling and it will leave you open indefinitely and that's the joy of the game now, it's now become and intense possesion, take your team battle on the field.

You see I went into fifa 20 with the sane gameplay attitude as I had on fifa 19, if you do that you are going to lose, it's took me some days to get to grips with the new gameplay, even then I feel there's still much to learn.

That's the difference between I and others here who can tear a game apart and see a games differences. Yet someone like the poster who has probably got mad at something he didn't like about fifa 20 and decided to post this above. I tend not to listen to anything negative about a game like what's above when a game has recently been released, you know they are annoyed at a game for a few particular reason, so they decide to try sway others from enjoying it also by writing something that isn't entirely true.

Much has changed on the field with fifa 20, it's worth the purchase, despite that the career mode is having a few problems at the moment, there are still the other modes and they are fine and dandy.

The welcomed addition to the battle pass is nice, volta is sweet, management has been enhanced and so to has prob clubs and ultimate team, what more can you ask for.

Fifa 20's sales embarrass us all

Its an arcade game lol the skills are ridiculous no freaking player in the world can do the skills players do in the game, its turned into a fighting game. All pes need to do is get big team liscenses and theyll be good.

Stopped at Fifa 15 and moved to Pes even looking at fifa gameplay makes me sick to my stomache 🤢

If you’re going to own any FIFA game right now, then I would suggest getting FIFA 2018 because it has a free World Cup update. If FIFA is not worth your time anymore, then PES will probably be a better choice.

How many of you guys slagging it off ^^^ have actually played Fifa 20?

1st FIFA I haven't bought since FIFA Football 2003. I mostly play Career Mode, and it was meant to be the most developed it's been since the PS3 era, yet it's a broken mess, I'll get it in 5 months time when it eventually gets patched.

well... no matter how broken it is, its already the most sold game in 2019 the uk and in alot of other countries.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
