
The Fallout series has taken some slack lately for its overly-canonical characters, so were here with a brave take: make it like New Vegas.

Creating any work of art in a corporate system is an odd business. Often, developers don't actually own the intellectual property rights of what they make, and sequels get produced at different companies. Fallout co-creator Tim Cain saw the series go from a humble isometric CRPG to one of the biggest gaming franchises ever, and he has mixed feelings about it.
Bethesda takes flack for removing most of the elements that made Fallout what it was. Saying Fallout needs less story though? The clever writing/story is a lot of the reason New Vegas .IS. regarded as the fan favorite; not only by series veterans, but RPG lovers, and new players alike.
Not entirely sure I'm grasping what you're trying to say here.
I say more story! Return Fallout to the isometrical, RPG style of 1 and 2 :P
It was largely the lack of a good narrative and any interesting sidequests that made me hate Fallout 4
