Bethesda takes flack for removing most of the elements that made Fallout what it was. Saying Fallout needs less story though? The clever writing/story is a lot of the reason New Vegas .IS. regarded as the fan favorite; not only by series veterans, but RPG lovers, and new players alike.

Not entirely sure I'm grasping what you're trying to say here.

New Vegas is my fav rpg of all time and it's 100% because of the story, both main story line and side quests. Fallout 4 if anything, needs more story.
