The Steam version of Blasphemous is on sale right now for $19.71.
"The Wakefield-based (the UK) indie games publisher and developer Team 17 and Seville-based (Spain) indie games developer The Game Kitchen, are today very happy and excited to announce that their critically acclaimed hack’n slash action-platformer "Blasphemous", is now available for Android devices worldwide." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Fantastic game. I can't imagine playing this on a mobile phone though. Far too difficult.

This article covers pixel Indie games that have a superior art direction and creative art style compared to several modern AAA titles.

VGChartz's Paul Broussard: "If you’re looking for a title with exploration, platforming, and some challenging combat, this is a great experience that adds to 2019’s absolutely incredible line-up of releases. The problem is it’s a bad Metroidvania, which is a shame because this is an article series about Metroidvanias. If I do a series on Souls-likes, expect Blasphemous to be at the top of the list, but as far as Metroidvanias go it rates pretty low because it hardly even attempts to be part of the genre."
i initially wanted to play it cause of the art style, too me a while to actually find it, but damn did i love the game and the lore
Over $22 on PS4, normally $25. Blasphemous looks incredible and i promote it, but the price is high. Same With Dead Cells which is a 2D rogue-like for $25. These games are great, but we're talking 2D pixel art, they should be $19.99 with a 20% discount reducing to $16. That is fair, that's what i paid for Gungeon at launch. I got Hollow Knight absurdly cheap on PS4. Nuclear Throne was Vita+PS4 crossbuy and like $12 at launch.
I'm concerned with indie pricing, even Children of Morta is already $22 on Steam and is likely to be 25 on PS4. I want to support these tremendous indie games, but they are pricing me out.
