Hey thanks for the comment. We do have a review scoring system that shows how we review our games. We mentioned in the review that we were trying to give a perspective for people who were thinking about trying Heave Ho on their own or who didn't have a full party of players. We also have multiple different reviewers so everyone has their own unique style.

So a 6 out of 10 is a game that's still entertaining and recommended, but may have a fundamental problem holding it back. In the case of this review the lack of diversity in gameplay and the lack of entertainment for solo players were the fundamental issue. We understand Heaver Ho is meant as a party game, but this review tries to focus for players who may not have the chance to play it with 4 players. So, because the game can be played without 4 players and can be played solo we have to look at, if the game holds the same entertainment value. It's just a different perspective on the game.

The reason Bloodstained didn't make the cut is that we reviewed the Switch version, and that had a few performance issues that dropped its score a bit. But think of it as an honorable mention for an honorable mention :P
