Jacob St-Amour from Link-Cable Writes: "The RTS craze has long been gone and the genre has seen fewer and fewer releases since then with most of them coming from the same franchises that popularized game style way back when. This may no longer be the cast as we have seen many series return to the time-consuming genre with some of the most renowned franchises such as Blizzard’s own Warcraft and EA’s Command & Conquer both getting remastered editions of some of their most popular titles within the next year or so. It is a great way to reintroduce these RTS classics to those who may never have a chance to enjoy them when they first released, but we also think it is time to see new games in the genre make a comeback, more specifically, with the Command & Conquer franchise."

We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

Is it though? RTS games simply aren't that popular anymore, MOBAs kinda sunk that ship. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say no to a new C&C, but I'm not surprised we haven't seen one.
Another franchise EA leaves by the way side...
