Valkyria Chronicles is a bit like the new Bond song. You'll either love it, hate it, or start off hating it and eventually love it. It's a unique game. The graphics are amazing, and the turn-based/action combat is wonderfully executed. Download the demo before you pick up this game, as it may not be for you. Not quite a classic, but still an excellent game.

Sega is great for relegating its characters to cameos in other games. Heaven forbid they announced Valkyria Chronicles 5 or remaster VC 2 & 3.
