
The day of the real-time strategy has certainly passed us by, but the genre still thrives in multiplayer and in a handful of single-player campaigns. However, the time of epic stories chronicling heroes and drawing the player into a rich story seems to be much harder to find.

I loved RTS games, but there's a special one that holds a place in my heart and that would be Battle Realms.
I remember when LAN shops where a thing in the bay area. There was this one located in Japan Town and they were the only ones that had the game Battle Realms. Me and some friends would go there just to play this, while everyone else was on Counterstike (playing dust for the 8000000000000th time).
Those were some absolutely ridiculous fun sessions we had with that game.
