Microsoft’s head of all things Gears of War, Rod Fergusson, says his team is playing it less safe with September’s Gears 5 after feedback that the series’ last installment didn’t go far enough.

Gears 5 is available to stream on GeForce NOW as Microsoft's first game following the partnership with NVIDIA. More will follow next week.

i went through the list to kill some time. WHat I found crazy was out of the 35 games only 3 are exclusive to the xbox one. Forza ori and damn I forgot the other.
Gotta show it man. The E3 stuff caused quite a lot of confusion especially when they had such a beautiful trailer at the E318.
Looking forward to what they have come up with. I enjoyed Gears 4 which I thought was beautiful and fun but safe so hope they take a few risks. From reading the article I am super happy for one small change - moving the chainsaw from the B button to the right bumper. It was so annoying having to hold down B and lose control of the right stick while you did it.
Gears 4 had a terrible, terrible story. The dialogue and characters were awful, the new enemies were forgettable, there was no main villain and the robots they added were so generic and unncessary it was laughable. The quality of life improvements they made to the gameplay were great and so were the graphics and the wave mode but the story definitely needs serious improvement so I hope they do a better job.

Hearing people bitch about safe is ridiculous. You mean they made a gears game? Mind as well make a new ip if you want to change everything that makes it gears
