No, it's a pretty decent game really. You chould try it out. It is free to play now.

It's actually one of the better MMOs out there, but not being on console holds it back for reach potential (PC is owned by Blizzard for MMOs still).

It's cool that fans are bringing this forgotten game back with this homebrew content. Hopefully they'll do Asheron's Call next.

There is still quite a fe people developing the game down at BioWare Austine.

With the level cap increase, there will be a new ability for each advanced class (I think, may have been per discipline). If it is per advanced class, I suspect that they a fully new, not replacements of another ability.

For the Dxun operation, they hinted that Dxun was overcome with monsters, and that hunters who were chasing points may show up. AKA Trandoshans may be involved.

I am probably most excited about all of the itemization changes. More flexibility within classes, gradual introduction of non-combat bonuses, new set bonuses to mix and match, more loot, tactical items, more legacy friendly. Always looking for ways to spice up the playstyle.

It's sad that I have not had time to play this game. I played it for a good year (with subscription) when it was first released but then I got too busy to play anything.

I loved this game and have played since launch but don't let this article fool you, this game is a step above life support. While they are still technically updating the game, the updates are few and far between and there is a significant lack of quality control, so many little bugs that have been present for years.

The updates felt flimsy to me also. Stopped playing in 2021.

This game got a huge update last year didn't it with more content?

PapaBop1158d ago

They promoted it as an expansion yet offered like 3-4 hours of content. The game is amazing and easily one of the best Star Wars games ever made but content drops are so few and far between.
