I bought an XB360 to play this game. I also played other gems like Blue Dragon, Gears of War, and ES: Oblivion but Lost Odyssey was the precursor and one of the best jRPGs ever.
I would definitely buy that. They remake and remaster a bunch of stuff we don't need/want but they let the really good stuff sit on the shelf collecting dust.

What these games need are remasters and to modern platforms. They're all unfortunately stuck on the 360.
They are available on series x as well. But would be nice to get them out even wider.
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and FFXIII Trilogy is actually the only reason I still have my Series X.
Because Phil and team seem to enjoy going to websites and forums to see what fans are discussing and wanting, to earn good faith points with post like this while they continue to offer the bare minimum.
Remastered and remake games are lame... A gigantic "we don't know how to evolve original thoughts" from dev teams cashing in on old ip.... Make new stuff or gtfo.

Odd choices for "best" more like you settled as these being the "best" that available to you at the time, cause a lot of these blow or were average to poor performers that ended up in bargain bin.
Missing too many great sci-fi titles here. The Void, The Resistance Series, Killzone 2 and 3, Enslaved, man.. there were so many, this is redicu-list.
I agree that Starhawk shouldn't be above Warhawk, however I must say that Starhawk multiplayer was incredible for its time! Many people wrote it off bc the single player was quite terrible, bc it was basically 1 huge tutorial for the multiplayer. But I can tell you never spent any significant amount of time in MP. It was doing incredibly tense base building w air, foot and land vehicle (and mech!) combat long before Fortnite was ever a thing.
I bet it would have been much better received if it had just ditched the story mode all together. So many people like yourself completely wrote it off based on reviews by reviewers that let the criticism of single player weigh heavily on their scores. I bet you didn't even play it.
There's also the less acclaimed 'assault on dark Athena'
( also, not saying this to you specifically but there's both resistance and killzone games on the list, it's amazing how even something so simple and innocent as a game list can be turned into misinformed vitriol here lol )
Glad to see Resonance of Fate. Enslaved was pretty good too. I’m sure there are others nobody has listed but I’m too tired to try and think of anything
A sequel or remaster of Lost Odyssey and Vanquish for next gen consoles would be a dream come true for me.
Metal arms is dope AF! Awesome music, and all the voice actors are 90's cartoon voice actors, well written and funny as hell.

I'm still waiting for The Stanley Parable to come to ps4 because my laptop is a potato :( Ive tried so hard to avoid anything in it, which Ive failed unfortunately because Im so excited to play it so ive watched a little bit of it. But apparently its supposed to be comin.g in summer but they also said early 2019 before, so we'll see. I just hope its soon
