Define “hardcore.” Are those that only seek the highest graphic fidelity in games? Then no, those have long moved on to the PC and “pro” version consoles. If you define “hardcore” as those gamers that play everything from tower defense games to mature narrative driven games and buy games in the masses, well then the answer is yes as evident by their sales.
Nintendo will always make complementary systems in my opinion ever since Sony entered the market. I could never see myself primarily gaming on a Nintendo system for various reasons
Hell yes !! I never left, hardcore is 2D gaming anyway not the easy story driven nonsense, most of the games today aren’t hardcore 😂😂
