i want the evil within 3, nothing else

Christopher2412d ago

Please stand by for 3 hours of Skyrim, coming February 2020.

LOGICWINS2412d ago

Evil Within 1/2 and Dishonored 1/2 Switch ports would make me happy, but my wallet sad.

-Foxtrot2412d ago (Edited 2412d ago )

Same

I feel like the intro is giving us a "I'm Sorry" vibe even Pete is giving us the "you are everything to us" bullshit speech. Just say "WE'RE SORRY FOR FALLOUT 76"

The planted crowd by them, mostly the developers, is really sickening cheering Todd on as he makes jokes about it

NarutoFox2412d ago (Edited 2412d ago )

I guess you're going to be disappointed. Ghostwire is their next game.

Platformgamer2412d ago

i am... i'm so infuriated right now.
and the fake audience is getting me really nervous i want to punch them in the face.

I didn’t think it was possible but Bethesda could win E3 . MS was horrible besides the multiplats of Cyberpunk and Tales and Elden Ring but you can’t count Multiplats towards MS’s show . I want Elder Scrolls 6 but it isn’t suppose to be there so Evil Within 3 is all I can think of .

phoenixwing2412d ago

They could win E3 but that would mean that Square Enix drops the ball when their conference comes. Which is possible.

Christopher2412d ago

I'm surprised people are calling MS horrible. They didn't break any records, but they showed a lot of games coming that they now own, announced they own even more, and shared enough about the future to keep people enticed. Why are we negging on them showing us third-party games that we want to play? Not like Sony was there to show those games, so someone had to.

phoenixwing2412d ago (Edited 2412d ago )

@christopher

the games were going to release regardless and as for the exposure they would have released a trailer sometime anyway as well. Only the indies really need E3 tbh people don't appreciate indies as much as AAA games though.

Edit: I will give credit where it's due though, and say that the Double Fine buyout was probably the highlight of the show for them. That's a good stream of new interesting games or at least possible new interesting games.

Christopher2412d ago

***the games were going to release regardless and as for the exposure they would have released a trailer sometime anyway as well.***

But it's not like they didn't show alongside a ton of exclusives. Why criticise those at all when it wasn't all they had? It's just like every other conference and something we praise Sony for in the past.

rainslacker2412d ago (Edited 2412d ago )

Bethesda usually has some good shows, so it's not that surprising. They always talk themselves down based on the trends of the year of where they screwed up. As soon as I write that, Tood Howard made a joke about the negative press they've gotten, and is talking about FO76. The showings themselves are usually pretty good though.

It's usually after the conferences they screw things up....typically also headed by Tood Howard.

I'm putting my money on Square Enix though. They have a lot of potential things they could show which would be big, and FF7 release date would be big if it's as soon as next year, coupled with a solid game play showing.

Edit: Not two minutes after I submit this, they go into a mobile game. So, maybe I spoke too soon.

SegaGamer2412d ago

I wonder how much BS Todd Howard will come out with this year.

phoenixwing2412d ago

Yeah that's the sad thing. Gonna have to make sure i'm impressed with actual gameplay because Todd Howard's descriptions are pure bull crap. He tried to make out fallout 76 to be a grand adventure with his descriptions.

Relientk772412d ago

I'm going in with very low expectations

If they show Dishonored 3 though, I am gonna lose my sh**

Rockstar launches official marketplace for mods

Rockstar has launched an official marketplace for "every server and every player" to buy mods: Cfx Marketplace.

I wonder how much of this isn't just taken work of others who have modded for free.

Edit: Also, great way for R* to take popular ideas and build them into GTAVI based on demand.

fr0sty6h ago

What I see happening here is, R* is going to ban mods in GTA6 UNLESS you buy them from the marketplace and R* then gets a cut of that sale.

ActualWhiteMan8h ago

Ah, perfect timing with them taking down the Bully online fan mod. Greedy a$$ company.

Christopher6h ago

It's okay as long as they get a cut of the money.

fr0sty6h ago

Expect R* to force it on you.

Snookies1212m ago

Yep, right there with you. I'll happily donate to a mod creator if it looks really cool, or if I enjoy it. But expecting payment up front? Nope, not touching it.

IanTH5h ago(Edited 5h ago)

I'm not entirely sure how to read this, as it doesn't seem exactly like an exact parallel to Bethesda's paid mods shenanigans.

Rather than single player stuff, this appears to be aimed solely on Cfx Servers. From what I've gleaned, apparently Rockstar bought the Cfx mod team several years ago, coming a few years after weird contentions led them to ban a few of their members. Ultimately, the question is if they plan to keep this contained to only online/servers.

I have to guess to a degree yes. It'd be pretty hard to "force" paid mods for single player when modding files locally on your own machine, but much easier for servers they'll control. So perhaps this is their soft launch ahead of GTA6 online and they'll clamp down more tightly on non-official servers going forward? Ever since they've become a 1 or 2 property studio, I haven't really cared much for Rockstar stuff, so I'm not entirely up on everything surrounding this. Sounds like it has the potential to be problematic further down the line, but right now fairly easy to ignore...I think lol.

Kotick Made $155 million from MS in the buyout, the little b*tch needs to stop whining. Thanks to this Microslop deal and massive industry consolidation thousands upon thousands of devs and other workers lost their livelihoods. This greedy piggie pervert needs shut up and f-off.
