they keep hyping their E3 conference every single year then they fail us measurably.

It makes sense. Sony isn't there and I believe EA won't have a keynote so most third parties will be there. I hope the next Ninja Theory, Playground games, and Obsidian(besides Outer Worlds) IP's are there too.

Best E3 conference I've ever seen was the Sony 2016. Almost no talk, but game after game after game. The presentation with the orchestra was unique and awesome, but it's the flow and the games that made it great. Lots of good reveals.

Longer isn't always better, because the longer a conference is, the more chance that there are lulls which tend to be boring and people start tuning out. Something that MS has had happen quite a few times this gen.

I like it long with no gimmicks like flute.

I will not know whether to laugh or cry if it ends up yet again being just multiplats and halo, gears, and forza.

Just like last year when you showed a lot of new games yet gamers purchased them on PS4 anyways. LOL

Tons of mobile games to announce and streaming 3rd party stuff.

I'll be watching - hoping they announce some first party stuff like new ip's that actually look enticing. I'll be honest my expectations are very low, I don't trust ms and never have. I had one x on pre-order and cancelled it 1 month from release. Nothing they've shown or released has made me think my decision was wrong.

Last year was too long. By the end, I had forgotten half of what they showed. Honestly, I only remember DMC5 and Tale of Vesperia. When you show too much a lot gets lost in the shuffle.

It will be interesting to see if AMD announces their new Navi GPU lineup at Microsoft's press conference. Lisa Su had Phil Spencer on stage at the announcement for Radeon VII last February. It would be appropriate, seeing as how Microsoft is really trying to zero in on PC gaming.

Never had an xbox always had playstation, but I still watch Microsofts conference every year. It's interesting to see what the competition are up to!

Two hours? Wasn't the the E32017 also a two hour show for them to hype the Xbox One X and show off all those "true 4k"? The show ended up being crap anyway!

The most important thing I want to see is what a few of their recently acquired studios are working on plus I would like to see some more studio or IP acquisitions.

The ultimate would be something like:

A showing from Ninja Theory of a new game or a new Hellblade game
Some more info on The Outer Worlds
A full showing of Gears 5
A jaw dropping teaser from The Initiative with a new IP
Some really good xCloud demos with announcements of 3rd party partnerships
The announcement of specs for their next console with a tech demo from a new next gen Forza Motorsports
50 new BC games
New info and details for Sony and Nintendo partnerships
Day One games coming to gamepass from a major 3rd party publisher
The announcement of one Platinum XB subscription the has XB Live Gold, Game Pass, and xCloud together for a discount
And the typical Indie montage (Including more on Ori and maybe a new Cuphead)

This is the first time in my life where I have ZERO hype for e3.

The gaming MO is show the games that are supposed to drop the next year or two but will be delayed until the next next gen console is about to come out. Yawn!!

I really hope it's new fresh ideas not Halo or Gears not more Xbox One consoles.

All I care about at E3 2019 is what CD Project Red will say about Cyber Punk 2077. As far as I'm concerned that is the only reason I will tune in.

EXCLUSIVE, under that will say console launch exclusive.

Without Sony, E3 is not the same. E3 is around the corner and you can sense that hype is very very low.

I'm hoping they put those new studios to good use. Every studio they bought has the potential to release quality titles. More quality games the better.

Doesn't matter how long the conference is. MS has metaphysically admitted to taking the L with the 8th Gen and XB1. If their intention is to go for broke by announcing a 9th Gen console at E3 but by not creating any "true" exclusives for it (none of this Win10/Play Anywhere mess), then they're going to be finding themselves in the exact same predicament as with the XB1.

MS is legit the only reason I'm still paying attention to E3 if they ever leave I'm done with it.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
