I prefer healthy competition, but ms have literally handed to Sony on a plate this gen, it couldn't have gone any worse for MS tjis gen, don't get me wrong, sitting on a nice profit and all but they've missed out on potential billions more profit

N4G will probably still get these types of comments even if Microsoft churn out some great games next gen no doubt, they cant win even if they do something right with some people

I hate microsoft but I agree with him, we need competitor to make sure everyone -plays fair rules otherwise corporation cant wait to win and then rip gamers off. Thats nothing new. We gamers need to stick together, regardless of my hatred against microsoft

Buying studios is just one step. The ethos at Microsoft has been making games as a vehicle for some other initiative. Case in point: forcing crackdown 3 as a means to highlight gamepass. For subscribers it’s an option...equivalent to Netflix streaming shovelware. It’s an option for sure but not a very good one. I do feel bad for those that actually forked out 60 for it.

Basically, I’m glad Microsoft is trying to improve their first party but I have a STRONG HESITATION about most of their first party content. Most of those studios don’t have a strong recent track record. I’ll watch and wait to see what they put out.
