A Plague Tale: Innocence features an interesting narrative set within the backdrop of a bleak time in human history. You often felt tension when encountering hordes of infested rats or the well-equipped soldier's search for Amicia and Hugo. The relationship between these two siblings starts rough but builds into something worth exploring. While the stealth and combat sections don’t do anything new, they are there to push the narrative where it needs to go. Furthermore, the rats are horrifying and watching them scurry or devour a corpse leaves a lasting impression. A Plague Tale: Innocence is exemplary and recommended.

Amazon has announced the lineup of games to be added to Prime Gaming for October, 2024 and it features A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Amazon prime gaming is soo weird. I always try to remember to check it but it seems to update so randomly. Then of course only some games will appear if you’re in their own app yet on the website all the games will appear. Sometimes I’ve found they lists games that simply don’t appear on either.
Obviously appreciate what they’re doing but my god what a complete sht show of a service they operate.
Was really excited when I opened it up the other day to find doom eternal. Was never going to buy it at this point anymore. Then realised it was from Microsoft store 😡 after buying age of empires from their store a long time ago and finding out they install their rootkits that can’t be removed. I have Microsoft game folders on my own hdd that not only can I not access but I can’t even delete them! Vowed to never touch the store again.

A Plague Tale: Innocence's version of the real-life medieval pandemic is still one of the most intense and perhaps resonant ever seen in gaming.
Amazing game from top to bottom. The characters, story, rats, atmosphere, just so many things in this game they nailed.
