Project Prelude Rune was the new JRPG from Hideo Baba, who has previously as a producer on Tales of series. It was announced back in 2017 and then shown with a short teaser at Tokyo Game Show 2018.
Today Hideo Baba announced that he has left Square Enix and his position as Representative Director of the publisher’s recently-formed Studio Istolia.

Square Enix finally revealed Hideo Baba's Project Prelude Rune for PS4, coming from the newly-formed Studio Istolia.

Didn’t Hideo Baba leave SE a year after forming his new team with them? Can’t imagine the project would stick around after that.
never hear of it until now. just looked it up and from the first look i can say that it doesn't seem to be anything i would have bought in the end so no tears from my side.
