Looking forward to better AI and more baddies on screen :) Sounds like the Nehalem could be massive for gaming.

Its better than the Cell processor.

Fishy Fingers6404d ago (Edited 6404d ago )

OF course it is, it's the latest CPU available, and also sets you back £1000, a hell of a lot more than the Cell. Plus the Cell was never designed as a PC CPU.

But if you want to compare to console CPUs perhaps you should think about how slow this makes the 360s.

Please, can you leave PC threads alone, enough console threads are spoilt by fanboy trash.

O.k thanks for that tip i didn't know their was a PC thread i'll better start visiting that more often. and put on my pc head.

don't think it'll make a massive difference to gaming straight away, but in the future it certainly will. I want one...

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit17d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing17d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9217d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
