The monthly additions of NES games arriving on Switch have become routine at this point - indeed, three more are on the way in April right on schedule - and despite mixed feelings from the service's subscribers, that routine looks like it's here to stay for now.
All things - good or mediocre - must come to an end eventually, though, and new marketing materials for the online service have been spotted which include this very fact in the small print. Nintendo Switch Online is now launching in Hong Kong, and these flyers note that the NES software additions can't go on forever.

Cole Young almost made the jump from movie newcomer to game canon in Mortal Kombat 1, but a last-minute time crunch shut it down.

A rare first-party Nintendo games sale has just gone live on Amazon with around a dozen of the company's titles discounted.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
no, eventually you would think they would move on to SNES games, etc.
And this is why we'll never get a n64 mini classic
PlayStation users: we are so sick of only getting 2 ps4 games a month on plus.
Switch users: Please don't take away our free 30mb 30 yr old games? 😆
I'd like them to start putting more than 4 new things on the service every month. The whole "Special Edition" thing I thought was cool at first. A new twist on a classic game. But it doesn't amount to much more than using a Game Genie, and they take the spots of other potential games for the month. The trickle feed thing worked for the original Virtual Console, but now that this is a subscription service, I feel like they should start bringing out more games at a higher rate.
Needs more than nes games and really for their service that is just the beginning. Needs party system and messaging at this point.
