I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.

Forgot to mention that Jaffe and Barlog are no longer in the santa monica studios ... GOW3 could turn out to be a disaster in the gameplay department ... I know it will be amazing graphics wise though .. the artists in Santa monica studios are very very talented
Bayonetta is definitely more targeted towards fans of the crazy talent; including the direction of videogames. Sure its "tongue n' cheek", but how often do you get a game that's willing to push those creative boundaries?
