Apple can never match Nintendo on gaming front. As for hardware, definitely Apple is better, but even then Apple is being outclassed in so many aspects by Samsung and Hauwei.
At least in Japan, the market has been shaped for the last 8 years with 3DS vs Mobile Game. They have already been distinguished.
